International Admissions

Live and study at the edge of one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

Located just 56 kilometers outside the heart of Los Angeles, the «Ƶ;Verne offers the best of both worlds: a small-town college in the midst of a global metropolis. While the sunny Southern California location is a significant draw for international students looking to earn a degree in the United States, the «Ƶ;Verne presents a unique, enriching academic experience that will prepare you for the demands of tomorrow.

Why «Ƶ;Verne?

The «Ƶ;Verne educates hundreds of international students from all over the globe who are drawn to our career-focused, values-based academic programs.

As an international student, you have a unique perspective and life experiences that enhance our campus community, which reflects the incredible diversity of Southern California.

A Top-Tier Education

Whatever your goals, the «Ƶ;Verne helps you reach them with a wide range of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. All academic programs emphasize a solid foundation in the liberal arts and job-ready skills that help you launch a career in the United States or back home.

Small Class Sizes

The small class sizes at the La Verne Campus lead to a more engaging classroom experience and encourage interaction to strengthen your communication skills. The format is ideal for innovation and thinking critically—two increasingly essential aspects for today’s globalized marketplace.

The La Verne Campus feels like a small college town where everyone knows each other. Yet we’re not so off the beaten path. After class, Southern California offers you endless opportunities for discovery and recreation. Learn more about our campus and the surrounding community.

International Student Support

Our Office of International Services and Engagement (OISE) ensures our international students have a smooth transition to the university by helping navigate immigration paperwork, travel resources, employment assistance and so much more. The office also organizes orientation, cultural events, and other activities to help you adjust to life as a college student in the United States. Learn more about the I-20 and visa process here.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

We offer competitive merit scholarships to qualified international undergraduate applicants. Awards are based on your GPA and test scores. We also offer a generous Performance Scholarship eligible to students majoring in the fine or visual arts. Learn more about our scholarships for international undergraduate students.

The «Ƶ;Verne does not provide financial aid packages or scholarships to international graduate students. Candidates should plan to complete their education with their own financial resources without earning sufficient income while living in the United States.
